Mod Mix Monday #195

Ah...such the perfect patriotic display.
Pictures like this make me wish I lived in a Farm House instead of a tudor.
There is nothing more patriotic than a big white farmhouse.

This summer is soaring by...I'm busy with my full time job as well as
some freelance design work.

But I did manage to find time for my faves from last week's Mod Mix Monday.
Fun Summer table by Christine of Rustic and Refined

Darrielle of DD's Cottage painted this super cute dresser.
She also painted this tall cabinet for the bath too - DD's Cottage

I hope your plans for the 4th are coming together...
I'm trying to decide what I'll bring to our party.
Looks like I'll be browsing Pinterest for recipes!

Mod Mix Monday #194

Isn't this the perfect summer setting?
I'm in love with gray wicker mixed with pink roses.

Pretty gardens in last week's Mod Mix Monday...
Pam of Everyday Living shared her "Not So" Secret Garden.
Jane of Honey and Roses painted this little dresser. I love the finish on this!
Jan of Just Jan shared summer blues.
Linda of Coastal Charm shared her pretty garden including...
lots of interesting garden art and many hydrangeas.
Ellen of Scribbler Unfocused has been working like a mad woman on her living room
She's doing a total overhaul and this week she shared the table she painted.
Phyllis of Grandparents Plus shared miniature garden inspiration. I love the tiny lights added to this garden.
Jamie of So Much Better with Age shared how to style a silver tray.
Love this early summer display done by Su at Butterfly and Bungalow.

Yard of the Month

June Yard of the Month
in Edgemere Park
Yes, this house looks similar to my own. Yet it had many differences.
It's actually just down the street from me and it was selected as yard of the month for June.
This yard is more manicured than my own.
The couple that lives here is all about restoring this home to it's original glory.
They are leaving all the original details in the home and restoring rather than renovating.
I love that!
I'm sure these begonias will be big and bold in another month.
 Pretty pots on the porch.

 A simple landscape out back.
A nice deck to enjoy the evening on.
Their garage includes a small apartment. I wish I had that. I'd turn it into a studio.

Mod Mix Monday #193

 via
Oh...I love this comforter! How fun is this bedroom? I know it's not practical cause there is
a staircase right next to the bed and a piano on one side but I like the look of it all.
Especially that comforter.

Summer will soon be upon us and I found inspiration in last week's Mod Mix Monday.
Priscilla shared how to make a cute daisy wreath but take a look at her yard
and all the pretty things blooming in it!
Priscilla also shared her latest chalkboard art.
Jan of Just Jan shared a table all set for dining outdoors.
She also shared her flower filled living room.
Very Chintzy! In a very good way.
